X Games 2011

Winter X-Games 15 officially started today from Aspen, Colorado. As if I needed anymore reasons to like Colorado. The year I move here, the X-Games come back to where they began. Of course Colorado does have the best mountain range in the country in their backyard so I guess it's not that much of a coincidence. Either way I'm glad to know I can drive an hour and watch live extreme winter sports. I wonder if you can place bets on the events online. I would be willing to bet everything I have left on Shaun White to win gold in Half-Pipe. One thing I can't get into is freestyle snowmobile, or whatever the X-Games call it. It was cool to see a guy do a back flip on a snowmobile the first time. Now that's all they do. I'm sorry but until they come up with a tandem event where 2 guys backflip simultaneously onto the other guys snowmobile, I'm just not interested. With that said, everyone in the X-Games is crazy for what they are doing, and I respect every contestant. At what point will the ramps be big enough to say, "okay we don't need to go any bigger." HELLLO! Have fun watching and stay tuned for me to report winning $50 off Shaun White. Maybe I should just dedicate my life to being in the winter X-Games. Then again, maybe not. Happy watching.

Split Symbol

In case you didn't already know, I have been involved with music in some form or another almost my entire life and about 3 years ago I was given the opportunity to join a band. What started off as a 3 man garage band searching for an identity, turned into a 4 man garage band that calls themselves SplitSymbol. For the past couple years now I have been playing lead guitar and providing vocals for our band and hope you will take a visit to my other site I have created. A side project if you will, that showcases who SplitSymbol is and what we've done. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy making it. I will try and keep both up to date as best I can.

P.S. Recently I moved to Denver and we are no longer together.

Viva La Mona

My dog Mona
Since I was a little boy I've grown up loving dachshunds. These are pictures of my latest 2 dogs. They are both miniature long hair dachshunds. Morrissey is the red haired male who enjoys catching some rays in the afternoon while stretching his legs, and Mona is an english creme colored female who might be the cutest dog I've ever seen. That's why I vote to start the "Viva La Mona" campaign. With the publics help, much like how "Obey" became famous, "Viva La Mona" will also become famous, by putting her image up everywhere possible.

Some Pics of Morrissey and Mona:

The Move

Well I've officially moved to Denver. We found a sweet apartment just outside of the downtown area, but still close enough to all the action. I am so excited to start exploring the city. The dogs are starting to finally get acclimated to their new environment. I'm not so sure I've gotten used to taken them up and down four flights of stairs every time they need to go to the bathroom. Oh well. I could use the exercise. Any way the hunt for work begins now. Wish me Luck.
