Copper Mountain

Having heard good things from local residents of Denver, Kevin and I decided to head out to Copper Mountain. We were pleasantly surprised to find such an awesome ski resort that we'd never heard of before. Having already been to Breckenridge and Vail, I wanted to try a new place and Copper Mountain did not disappoint. Although the snow was a little stale from higher temperatures and days without fresh snow, we still thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on what turned out to be a gorgeous day. We got there early and left late, combing the entire mountain for the perfect runs. From the very top we found some nice bowls with vast landscapes of beautiful rocky mountains that seemed like every where you turned was worthy of a postcard. Copper Mountain now ranks among my favorite ski resorts in Colorado and would highly recommend it to anyone who's never been there before. With a small, new, village atmosphere and plenty of wide open ski trails, Copper Mountain is a great place to ski or snowboard whether you're a beginner or you've been doing it for years. Man I love the Rockies. Just another reason why I moved here.
